Spring Break Moab

We went to Moab this week with some friends. We had a great time. We got to Moab on Monday and decided to go out and ride the Klondike Bluffs trail. On Tuesday we went up to Arches National Park and hiked The Devils Garden. It was a 7 mile hike that had a few crazy parts, but everyone made it, even 4 yr old Kelli. We took the kids back to go swimming at the hotel. Of course that is what they love to do:) Wednesday we went up and rode the slick rock practice trail. It was so windy which made for not so fun riding. Then we went and hiked Negro Bill up to a natural rock bridge. It was a fun hike, but windy. Back to the hotel and swimming after that. Thursday we took Duff, Kace and Ken up and dropped them off to ride Porcupine Rim. They had a great ride, especially for Kace's 1st time on it. We had a great time!

Cholla Challenge-Hurricane

Duff and the kids rode in the Cholla Challenge Mountain Bike Race in Hurricane on Saturday! The course was a dirt/sand trail and some rock. Kassidy raced in the 9 and under division which rode a little over a mile. She did a great job (once she remembered to change gears out of the easiest gear. She ended up placing 10th overall-out of about 25. and 1st in the girls. She won a ribbon and got a pair of gloves. Kace raced in the 10-12 division. His race was about 4 miles. He did a great job! I was impressed with both the kids, especially since they really haven't ridden a bike yet because there's still snow in Heber. Duff raced over 15 miles. He placed 4th in this division. He even met up with an old friend! They all did very well for their 1st race!

Gr. Lee's 80th Birthday

My Grandma Lee Turned 80 on Mar. 25. We had a family dinner and party for her on that Saturday! It's always fun to get together and spend time with family. My grandma is such an amazing woman! She is one of the most Christ-like people I know. She would do anything for you and always makes us smile. She is so fun to be around. It's had to believe she's 80. We love you Grandma!
