Yellowstone

This last weekend, we took a trip up to Yellowstone! We left Thursday morning and drove to Island Park. We visited some sights there and fed some fish in a river. The kids loved feeding them and watching them fight over the bread. On Friday, we headed to Yellowstone. We stopped in West Yellowstone and ate breakfast and went to a Bear and Wolf Habitat. It was fun to see the bears and wolves up close. We spent the rest of Friday driving around looking at wildlife, hiking to waterfalls, watching Old Faithful and viewing some other cool things. We spent the night at the Old Faithful Inn. Saturday, we had breakfast and then headed to Jackson! I think the kids were getting tired of being in the car! Arguing came really easy! We stopped at a few sights on the way out. We walked around Jackson Hole and had a great time. The kids played in the big hot tub later that night. Sunday, we headed for home. It was fun to see the sights! This area is a beautiful place. My favorite kind of country is just what Yellowstone is. I love aspens and pines! We got to see buffalo, elk, bald eagle, ducks, and geese. We never did see a moose or a bear in the wind. That would have been fun. I love family vacations!
